Maddy Cakes

I've always had an interest in baking for as long as I can remember....it could be that I am fan of sweets (not to mention CHOCOLATE)!

As any working mother could tell you, I wanted to find the right balance between work and home.  I wanted to be able to provide for my family but at the same time be there for them as well.  I decided to stay at home and try to find something that I enjoyed yet yield some financial gains.  I started by taking a baking class approximately two years ago.  I was hooked!  I began baking and decorating cakes then bringing them to my family.  After much encouragement from them, I decided to try something new and start my own cake business. With my MBA to guide me with the business aspects, all I needed to do was let my fingers do the talking.....

I will be perfectly honest with you, I never attended culinary school.  However, my interest has always been to create something that would brighten anyone's day, not to mention taste as good as it looks. 

I take pride in my work and I hope that you can give me an opportunity to show you what Maddy-Cakes can do for you!
